ONLINE GIVING IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR CRESCENTVILLE UMC

 

 The service is provided through the Our UM Conference’s relationship with Vanco Payment Services. 

We are being given the service at no charge to our church or to the giver.  Your tithes and offerings will go

from your credit/debit card or checking/savings account to an account we have set up for Crescentville UMC. 

Our treasurer and counting committee will receive reports for donations made so that we can continue to keep

records for you to have for income tax purposes.

 

 This service is available now, and it is hoped that it will be used for consist church tithes and offerings. 

Even though we are not in the building, expenses such as utilities, taxes, salary and building upkeep continue. 

Financial support is needed to continue in ministry, even as we endure the Covid Pandemic.

 

 If you want to continue to mail in or drop off your tithes and offerings, that is great!

Please continue to support the church in the way that is best for you!

The setup to be rather straight forward if you follow the screen directions.  

 

HERE IS A QUICK GUIDE IF YOU NEED IT.  PLEASE PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO #5 !

 

A.  Start by clicking on the above link, or type it in your browser.

      This takes you to the EPA Conference website online giving page.

       Scroll down and click on DONATE.

 

B.  CREATE YOUR ONLINE PROFILE.  (box in on right side of screen)

      Enter your email address.  (continue)

 

C.  SEND PASSWORD – This is how they verify your email address.

 When you click on this they send a temporary passcode to your email.

The next screen that came up for me I found odd as it sent me to a page that said an “error had occurred”. 

I went to my email and found the temporary password and then on the “error” screen I entered my name and

address and the other information. Then in the box to the right enter the temporary password and the password

you want to use in the future.  (Make sure you write it down!)  Then click on “UPDATE” and it should tell you that

your profile has been updated.  Once you have set up the profile, you will need to LOG OUT and start again to

set up the payments.

 

Once again, use the link above or type it in your browser.

 

1.  Click on DONATE

 

2.  In the box at the upper right, login with your email address and the password you created.

 

3.  On the next screen, click on ADD TRANSACTION

 

4.  On the GIVING screen:

 General Operating:   enter the amount you want to give.

 Giving Frequency: On the drop down menu you can select how often you want to give this amount.

You can make it a one-time payment, or weekly, or monthly, whatever works for you.

  Giving Start Date: Use the little calendar to select the start date.

  Giving End Date: You can leave this blank unless you have a specific date that you want giving to stop.

  CONTINUE

 

5.  GIVING INFORMATION:

  IMPORTANT PLEASE FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS!

      Choose one: Donation to a Church

 

      Church name:  In the drop down menu select Crescentvillle UMC

 

      MEMO:  PLEASE ENTER YOUR LAST NAME  - AND THE TYPE OF GIVING SUCH AS: 

CURRENT EXPENSES  -  BUILDING IMPROVEMENT  -   HOLIDAY (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas)  - 

                  MEMORIAL FUND – OR FOR WHATEVER THE OFFERING IS INTENDED.

IF THIS IS NOT FILLED IN, YOUR DONATION WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO TO CURRENT EXPENSES.   

 If you wish to send specific amounts for current expenses, mission, pension, building, oil fund, etc,

you will need to set up a separate transaction.

 

6.  Account:  This is where you will select how the account you want to use.

                 Use the drop down menu, select the account you want to use and follow the directions.

 

7.  When finished, click PROCESS.  The next screen will be your receipt.
